Halloween Event

1st November 2016

On 31st October, students and staff at the academy decided to keep with tradition and celebrate Halloween in style by carving some truly gruesome pumpkins, oranges and tomatoes at the Halloween Party. Before the party began, the student librarians spent lunchtime decorating the library and chose spooky music that would create a fantastic Halloween atmosphere. The party began with the guests enjoying some spooky treats created by our talented Year 11 Hospitality & Catering group, then using books from the library, our students let their imagination and creativity run wild as they designed creepy faces, slogans and animals into their fruit. At the end of the event, each guest took home their own pumpkin, a trick or treat sweet and a glow band.
